melissahead designs is owned and operated by me, Melissa morris Ivone, a 27 year old graphic designer from the Philadelphia area. I started making crafts when I was just a little girl. The first project I can remember was a birthday card for my grandmother that had an alarm clock on the front. The face read, "Time to Party", and the two bells of the alarm clock were attached to strings so the viewer could shake them to mimic the alarm going off. Every item sold at melissahead design is entirely handmade, with the assistance of a sewing machine.

And if you're wondering, the name "melissahead" came from a nickname that my uncle had given to me when I was very young. He had always gotten a kick out of the word "knucklehead", which eventually evolved into "melissahead." Yep, that's me, I'm a melissahead.
